Just shoot me already!

So a friend of mine, who is not a Watch, person , just gifted me these last week? The more I look at them the more uneasy my stomach gets. 🤢to say that I’m not an Invicta fanboy would be an understatement. They said “ I know you’re into Watches and have a large collection, I inherited these, I’d like you to have them.” I wanted to be polite so I took them. Problem is I will never ever wear them.

A. Do I throw them in my overflowing junk drawer of Watches ?

Or

B. Clean them up, change the batteries and gift them to somebody who will?

Or

C. Take them out to the range and put them on the targets?

B...

·

Most definitely C 😐

·

Let me see if I understand the choices correctly. A - add to my hoarder tendencies. B - be generous and regift trash to someone I may or may not like and then it's their problem. C - Trigger Therapy. No contest, it is C.

·

B. And be careful not to put a Cartier Santos too close to a Panerai in your overflowing junk drawer or the will procreate and you get more of that right one...

·

B, I did the same thing with unwanted watches in the family home. They weren't the prettiest, but it could be someone's first watch at a thrift store or something. Thought personally I'd keep these, I'm not a fan of Invicta but they've defenitely made worse

·

Store them away, you never know and you would not want to offend your friend……..

·

B

·

Do the world a favour and send them to Elon Musk so he can blast them into space..

·

D. Save them for wearing when you wanna make enthusiasts eyes twitch and/or be obnoxious when #1wc games start....👀🤏🏻😆

Don’t know or care, but LOVE your watchcrunch screen name “Trumpwon”!!! Trump 2024!

I've got a junk watch box , filled with well meant gifts from friends and family. So I say keep 'em, wear occasionally in front of your friend. You never know, he/she may find something special in the future and gift that to you. 👍🏻

·

C… scripted reply, “Dude, the movement just failed.”

·

If you took it in the first place you need to have them in case he will ask in future to avoid what you wanted to avoid upon getting them - offending him. Hence, only A is the acceptable option

·

A - Only Choice (based on info given)

You said that as a non Invicta fan, you still accepted them, and you wanted to be polite to this person. So unless you’re an extremely polite in general, this person means something to you (and vice versa as they bothered to gift this inherited “treasure 😅” to you).

As @Mare0104 said, if they ask about these in the future, you’re back to that original feeling of wanting to be polite to this person.

·

Give them to me! They look amazing! Especially the Lupah chronograph 🔥

One man's trash ....

I'm serious by the way

·

Change batteries and do an eBay auction with the cost of shipping as the minimum bid📦

·

I'd say keep them for yourself just to have them. I share the exact same opinion that they look terrible but at least you can use them to compare how beautiful your other watches look compared to those... things... Or you could just wear ir for the jokes 😉

·

Wear them both at the same time, one per wrist. Get a t-shirt with flames on it. Go big or go home! 😆

·

Honestly I don’t mind them at all. Fun for what they are imo. Would happily buy off of you, lmk if interested!
