Amazing, can't stop looking at it. 😍

Hand wind if you want something closer to the military models, auto if you prefer a modern looking everyday watch.

I prefer the hand wind with its blasted case and rugged look. I have a similar vintage model, and love its simplicity. Its limit is the lack of versatility.

You're welcome, Ian.

I think the other is the paratrooper. I don't have it, but for that one they made a video :)

Anyway, the simplest to wear elastic straps are the ones that follow Erika's arrangement. I found some from Amazon and AliExpress, it's just they are only simple design with a contrasting center line.

Welcome! That's an impressive selection of military watches :)

Some pictures to help you.

This is how I start bending the strap, I pull the hook out and turn it towards the rectangular bit of metal

Final setup. Hook is latched and a bit of the band is folded below the wrist.

But did you manage to wear it?

I spent 15 minutes in frustration, then I saw the product picture showing that the hook latches to rectangular frame dangling from the loose tail of the strap. That tail can't be bent, so i tried moving the hook around and figured out I had to bend the strap near the hook to shrink the strap to size.

It's illogical, but in the end works. And once set, it does not loosen.

Not my first choice of strap, but the price and the design make for the clumsiness.
