Birthday shopping for someone else gone wrong 😑
Very detrimental to my wallet and my marriage. The lure of buying a new watch while supposedly looking for a birthday present. My wife is going to kill me but I couldn’t resist and walked out with a new Tissot PRX, wrist shot to follow once I get home and size the bracelet.
I did just plan to go in and inquire about the Longines and the BB36, which unfortunately they didn’t have available at this particular store to view and after organising for the watches to be shipped to the store for me to view, it was the allure of the shining new watches that caught my attention. How we all love new shiny things, especially watches 🤩
After some negotiating with the lovely sales lady and getting a great discount it was far too late to walk away now. It’s my first new Tissot, I’ve owned vintage Tissot’ s in the past but never a new one, so I’m over the moon with my purchase.
Now to find that birthday present I was here for, maybe they’d like a nice new watch 🤣😂😆
Just a family guy who works on the railway and enjoys everything about watch collecting including the people you meet and the friends you make along the way. Plus a little bit of banter to spice thing...

I was going to get the new 35mm with the emerald green dial and if I was to buy another that would be my first pick, but I don't own anything like this Tissot so I went with this for a change and now it's sized up and on wrist I'm so happy I did. Absolute bargain at $450 AUD and a gorgeous watch.
And Harvey approved straight away and gave it his lick of approval 👍

Unfortunately no. The upside is I get to go back tomorrow and start all over again. But my wife has bard me from any watch shops 😠 I was hoping to get sneak peak at the Seiko store 😂

for some reason I’m not a big fan of tissot always had the gentlemen powermatic in mind but this rose gold hands and indices is changing my opinion on tissot. I thank You for sharing and broadening my opinion on the brand. gorgeous watch and good luck with the gift and the wife lol. Get another watch and tell the wife they had a buy one get one for free sale. 😂
