the usual dilemma
hi Crunchers, im looking for my next watch and im currently thinking about buying the new promaster since its quite affordable, diver certified and it looks amazing, but on the other hand i really want the explorer hommage by san martin since the explorer is my dream watch. i dont have a diver at the moment but i do have a couple of watches that are “similar” looking to the san martin. what do you guys think? which one should i get?

That citizen goes for a great price on Jomashop! I would do the citizen. Dial is more interesting too. Many brands offer that Explorer look.
purchase whichever one tickles you more. that new Citizen diver looks awesome though! The color is really cool! 😎
Definitely pick the one that picks you. That said, I would go citizen.
Citizen tends to have very long warranty periods and you have the added piece of mind of using a certified dive watch. That would tip the scales for me.
Citizen going by looks alone the dial is amazing 🤩

I would do Citizen especially since you have others similar to the San Martin
I have the San Martin (but the 36mm "Tudor Ranger" version) it is really great, BUT I grew out of it very quickly. I didn't love wearing it because ultimately it felt phony to me. I love talking to people about their watches but it was a let down when they asked if I was wearing a Ranger and I had to say, "uhhh no." That's me though! You do you. Both great watches.
Either or is great, but for me the Citizen.
hi, i own that san martin and is a very good watch... BUT compared to citizen i´drather go for the citizen instead... Now if you wish for a explorer homage Imust suggest to you to check the Baltany explorer homage which is quiet nicer to the eye thant the SM SN020
