They are very different watches in size and functionality. 39mm with solar, versus 43.5mm with high accuracy quartz. Depends what you find more appealing I guess. I have the Seiko and like it a lot. If they would drop the Bulova down to 40-41mm I would buy it for sure.
I got the seiko and its wonderful, it wears great, looks great, feels like quality ... but if bulova had a 39-40mm version, i would have gone for that :D
The Bulova is SO BIG compared to the notably compact Seiko. Really depends on wrist size and style. I think in terms of quality both are solid. The Bulova is perhaps more of a "deep cut" as the Speedtimer was such a hit, but you're good either way. Don't pay retail though, especially for the Seiko. I got mine for 400.
Seiko all day long, sadly bulova and not what they used to be. I’m sure they are a decent watch but Seiko are a far better watch brand, although they do cost a bit more
The BULOVA is really big. I had one but it was just too large for my liking. I would go with the Seiko or the smaller version of the lunar pilot (white/blue dial)
I’ve got both. The Seiko is a good looking watch. The Bulova is a tool watch and you can read the time from the other side of the room.I’m wearing the Bulova to work and the Seiko in the evenings.Buy both if you can.

go for the bulova even if it is not really a driver watch. But you have to got a thick wrist for this watch

Well, one's definitely more accurate...

Bulova looks better
Depends on wrist size. Both solid choices.
7” wrist, Seiko probably fits better

I do have big wrist 7 and change, but why is it not a daily driver?
Buy the Bulova if u have big wrists. Otherwise, buy the Seiko and lose the bracelet for a rally strap?
I literally watches a Teddy B video comparing these two last night. Check him out, he makes some good points/counter-points
if you have the wrist for it, Lunar Pilot ... just 'cause it's a "moonwatch"!

Bulova has space pedigree!
The Seiko wears small. The Bulova big. Choose accordingly.
Bulova is a sexy beast 😜
