One week, one watch....

For 2024 I decided to change up how I wear my watches. I typically wear a different watch everyday. Even when I travel I bring at least three and rotate through them while I'm away.

On New Years Eve I put on my Rolex Air-King and have worn it each day for the last week.

Accuracy of my mechanical watches isn't something I'm overly concerned with. I don't use winders so when I wear something I always wind it up the night before, sync the time, and then let it run down after wearing it for a day.

I'm really impressed with the Caliber 3230 in my Air-King. After one week on the wrist, it's gained less than one second.

Love Last Crusade! My favourite Indy film!

The Cal 3230 is a marvel. My 36mm Explorer, Cal 3230 has been running continuously since I got it, over 238 days now. Average daily rate: 0.0 spd. Fastest variance has been about +3 s, slowest about -4 s. So...no complaints 😂

I’ve been wearing 1 watch per week the last few weeks and really enjoy it!

The one Rolex I’m actually waiting to buy to add to my collection. I love what it represents.

Beautiful Air King! I try to wear a watch for two to three days in a row to really enjoy it. Weekends I play around and switch up more. Every day I'll have a G Shock on for a workout or dog walk. (More like both) and I have a Casio Oceanus S100 I wear around the house in the evenings. For me, giving a watch two to three days let's me really know why I chose it. I think I'll try going a week. When I travel I am always a one watch guy. Usually a Marathon GSAR because it is rugged and can dress up or down. (I know I'm way out of bounds on the dress comments with you Brother. You have and know style like I'll never know) The GSAR just flies under radar and somehow goes with many outfits for me. It's foolish with zero bling. I feel like Sinn can pull this off as well.

I’ve been thinking of doing the week-rotation thing myself. Right now, I’m rotating between two watches, switching them every day.

Check out the Rubber B black/green strap, takes the already stylish AK to a new level.

Im barely making it one day with the same watch! What a killer start with the AK. Which watch are you thinking for next week?

I'll make another post with my second watch next Sunday.

I tried this last summer and really enjoyed it. I also just picked up my new Air King last week and have had it on my wrist since, so i'm almost matching you!

Congrats on your Air-King.

Doing the same thing with one watch per week (weekends off though). It’s an interesting approach, with a watch being in the box for a number of weeks. Get to know a watch better and if it’s really a keeper. Quite a start for you with the Airking. Will follow your progress throughout the year
