Been on a break from buying what with Christmas round the corner and some big bills in pipeline. But I haven't stopped looking and saw this many weeks ago on fleabay and over the course of those weeks seen the price drop, till it got to a price I couldn't pass up. So here it is a 1970 bulova crosshair.
But the real star of the show is the movement
It's the 11blac,and it's a work of art,it really deserves a glass caseback,that B in the rotor,gorgeous.
Even the caseback is nice. Its been serviced and timed by the seller and it runs sweet.
Bit of a departure of style for me,usually it's a big diver on the wrist so wearing something like this is taking some getting used to,but i am veering towards vintage. So yes my watch buying break is over with the bulova, but I'm glad I've done with this lovely watch.

Vintage Bulova is an absolute gold mine of beautiful watches. Yours is no exception 👌 Great catch!
Looks great. I was recently given one from my dad. He got it in 72 and never wore it. I need to get it serviced since it doesn't currently run.

Thanks, they made some great watches back in the day,and some of them are not expensive at all for what you get.

Oh thats a must to get it running again. Hope you do.

Rob, it looks like you bought a 1970 International. Beautiful watch. @Fiatjeepdriver , it looks like that is a Clipper of some sort. The whale is later associated with Sea King models. For a while they appear on all sorts of models. I know that I sound like a broken record, but this is the best place to sort out vintage Bulova.
Absolute Beauty!

Thankyou for the info, the seller described it a crosshair and that's what I googled, its great you've passed the correct identity to me,so thankyou again.
That’s a cool watch!
