Bulova lunar pilot instead of pseudo pspeedy

The £207 for the Swatchmaster was burning a hole in my pocket on Monday, when I spotted this new for £180.

Spent two days worrying about the size and if my 7 and qtr inch wrist could take it as I've never gone above 42mm case before.

It arrived today and fortunately I have a flat wrist and while the cushion case is 45mm, the bezel is 41mm and the crystal is 39.5mm, so it wears surprisingly well.

I'm almost disappointed it's not as gargantuan as I envisaged.

Great choice. You got a far better watch for less!

·

Definitely the better choice, and the 45mm size isn't quite as overwhelming as I was initially afraid it would be. Here's mine on a Haveston strap, which I think should be the go-to for a Lunar Pilot.

Damn for that price I wouldn't have batted an eye either, I can't find one for less than 450€ anywhere

I meant pre owned, the prices for new are around the 550-600 mark

Apologies, I hadn't realized that prices were that expensive in your area. Check out r/watchexchange on Reddit. They occasionally pop up there for more palatable prices, even if you add shipping from the US. Good luck on your search!

I approve! 🤣😂

Beautiful watch. Much nicer than the plastic Swomega. I can’t pull it off though with my 6.75” wrist. I’ve tried.

I love mine, apart from my flighty it's one of my two Quartz watches in my collection. Fantastic choice and it it looks like it should be ten times the price. 👍

·

10 years from now you still have a great watch. The Swatch is throwaway when it gives trouble in a few years (not repairable).

·

Great choice sir!!

·

WAY better watch with a geninely innovative, revolutionary ('scuse the pun!) movement. And it won't leak all over your wrist.

·

One issue I have with it is the painfully slow chrono reset. Unfortunately, that bit is Miyota to the bone. If not for that, I'd probably be after one of these.

·

Great watch!  By far the most accurate watch I own.  I kept track of timing with the WatchTracker app and it never gained a full second per month.  Well within the 10 sec per year stated tolerance.  Wears better than it looks from the specs too.

I just got mine. I'm not sure what the big deal is with the size (no pun intended).y wrist is just a tad over 7 and I wouldn't want it to fit any other way than it does. It would be interesting to see the outcome of a smaller case though, and if it would be the hit people think it would be.

·

Where did you find it for that price?  Great watch!

·

Got it from H Samuel's website.  Not surprisingly it's sold out.

·

Great choice, I also bought one just today 😎

·

Great watch! Love the LP!
