I regularly look for certain watches that are no longer available from an AD. J Moser, Parmigiani, vintage JLC and others. I’ve noticed that some of m...

I recently tried on both watches. I wasn’t a fan of the Panarai fit. I like the look very much when I see them on other men, but, they’re not for me. The Santos (which I didn’t think I’d like) was terrific on my wrist. I liked the new large model, with a blue face. The easy switch bracelet/strap makes it pretty versatile. I’m not a huge fan of Roman numerals, but I really liked it. It’s also a historic watch. I own a Roadster and Drive and I’m a new convert to Cartier. Good luck picking.

I suspect they make better pictures than wearable watches. I also think they’re most successful when they are truely have open space and you can see thru them. The Santos that someone posted is a good example. In any event, it’s not something I’d pay for.

A Grail watch is an odd concept to me. There are so many watches that I’ve never had the privilege to see live abd in person. Would I really love a Patek 5711?  Are Parmigiani watches as beautiful in person as they are in print?  DC has no AD for Vacheron or Lange. how can I pick a Grail watch with so many unknowns?  I hope Im always looking for the next watch for my collection.

congrats and thanks for bringing another brand to my attention.

My initial reaction is that the case seems well designed with some nice rounding at the lugs. I’d have to try it in, since the fit is so subjective. It seems in line for my rather large wrist. It’s certainly not a small watch.

I do agree that the dial could use some work. the logo is a bit off putting to me. The green dial looked sleeker to me. It maybe that my preference is for dark dials.

my problem with micro brands (is this a mirco brand?) is that they tend to look roo much like more established brands.
