A one watch vacation.

hello all.

I’m about three quarters of the way thru my vacation. Spent a few nights in San Francisco, then  we’ve been driving down the Northern California coast. Some of the USA’s most dramatic coastline and a great place to visit.

I had posted a couple of weeks ago, asking whether to bring more then one watch on my trip. I knew my Sub would be my everyday watch, as I’d be getting it wet. Wasn’t sure I wanted a dress watch for dinners. I ultimately  decided to bring just the Sub and it was definitely the right move. I know that Rolex invites strong opinions, but it is a watch that makes me feel great and I never have to worry about it being damaged.

happy travels all.

I think it was the right decision!

It always feels a little weird leaving some watches behind but the presence of mind during vacation is generally worth it.

Looks good and you can just Bond it like Connery did. In a white suit, even.

the date was a later addition to the Sub. I always prefer no date when k can get it in a watch model.

One watch on vacation is the way to go.  I want to focus on my vacation, not worry about what I left behind in my hotel room.

I was once a one watch travel guy but I travel with 3 normally. Might have to try that again and see.
