Always curious how tastes / preferences vary. It would be boring otherwise, wouldn't it?.
This is my newest Speedmaster. I bought it because I like the polished center links. I'm a big fan of rose gold too.
Not at all trying to sound disparaging, but it does seem you had to court him a bit. You were still at their mercy, combined with the luck of the draw?
Good for you! Beautiful watch.
But the need to have to do this all sounds silly to me. More contemptibly, it always seems like a fix is in on their retailing. See 'Spokanesteve' above.
'D'...definitely! I can't do too sloppy. And I certainly can't do too tight. Ouch!
I'm in the 'a bit loose' camp. I want it to be able to move, but not flop around.
I have seen 'C' before. Cringe. Gives me the willies!
It seems it should a 'rule,' no, a qualifier. Any time anyone mentions a watch case size, their wrist size should also be mentioned. Again, a qualifier, if you will.
This would certainly help avoid people going off on each other over their case size preference(s).
My wrist is just a bit under 8". Not small, but not huge either. But stands to reason why I just might like a bigger case.
Thank goodness the watch manufacturers have taken that into consideration.
