Get the Farer!...becuz I don't think they'll make them forever. Plus it's a flyback quality movement. The strap it comes with is top notch too! Dang it, I want one now.
No idea...so far I've found it takes a small fortune to race. I'm grateful though for what I have been able to do. But more watches and less racing may be the way forward.
Dude! I just got the red one last week, also my first big purchase. Congrats! Anyway my first thought is black or grey nato becuz dial is busy and colorful enough but try a bunch of cheap nato first.
Thanks! Its a speedmaster racing that comes in several colors. The other colors have vertical brushing to the dials and polished hands while the red one is unique with a sort of frosted dial and white hands. Its 40mm but definitely wears like a 39.
I'm honeymooning hard at the moment so definitely loving it. I wish I had bought it sooner but it was my first time spending more than $2k on a watch. Its everything I thought it was going to be. Its nice and compact on the wrist, the thickness is not noticeable with all the beveling. The color pops! Sloping Bezel. My only wish is for a bigger crown and of course not a 19mm lug width but those are things I can live with when everything else is soo good. I am definitely partial to the racing if you ask me especially since I very much enjoy motorsports. Happy Hunting!
