Beautiful - absolutely proves “no divers on leather straps” is a dumb “rule”!

I just arrived. You can ask for Sean’s party of 15 at the bar, or just walk left into the other room with the fireplace which is where we will be. See you all soon.

I wish there was a different name for this type of world timer. Maybe a “point in time” world timer? Just very different from an actual world timer in that this setup requires you to reset the bezel to the gmt hand every time you check the time. Put otherwise, if you line the bezel up with the GMT hand, the time becomes inaccurate once you pass the top of the next hour.

Has definitely whetted my appetite for a real world timer though!

Hi all - super excited for tomorrow! I spoke with the Irish Nobleman today and they’ll have some tables reserved for us. At the bar, just mention you’re here for the watch crunch meetup and they’ll direct you to the right spot.

If you’re so inclined, please feel free to bring any watches, tools, straps, EDC etc. that you think your fellow Crunchers will enjoy. I’ll recommend some quick ground rules at the outset for handling others’ pieces etc.

Can’t wait to crunch it up with the Midwest crew!

Formex in general might win this discussion. Sounds like a chemical or cleaning product. Shane bc their story is cool, sourcing and access to parts may be tops in the league for micro brand and their watches are a leader in value for money.
