Speedmaster ‘Mark 40’ dilemma

Hello Watchcrunch! Last year, I picked up a Speedmaster date Mark 40 from ‘94 (with box and papers). It’s been great having a speedmaster in the rotation, but my style has grown a bit more esoteric and I think it’s time to part with this piece.

My issue is that the watch is running extremely slow, 3-5 mins per day. The chrono function doesn’t always work perfectly (have to press the bottom pusher multiple times to stop/reset) and the crown is difficult to turn.

Omega charges $900 for service. I’m wondering if it’s worth paying that and then selling or, given the watch is in great physical shape otherwise, to sell to a collector who might want more control over the service process w Omega. Any thoughts here? I’m a relative newbie when it comes to Speedmasters.
