Sporting the Sinn 556i.rs - my newest everyday/tool watch. Loving the bracelet, not agreeing with all the hate on the clasp. I know this watch isnโt as cheap as it used to be, but still seems like an understated time piece, happy to have it in the collection. What do you guys like about the 556?
New collector, last year have acquired: Sinn 556i.rs, Panerai Luminor Quaranta, Panerai Radiomir Quaranta, and Oris Aquis 400 Calibre. Grail watches: Rolex Explorer, Rolex Sub no date, and JLC Reverso...

Itโs super nice.
On my list, will be the next for sure ๐ฅ
As an atheist, I always thought that there is no such thing as sin. I was wrong. There is such a thing and it spelled with two "n". And it looks very, very good. Simple, clean look, very legible. A perfect everyday watch.
My favorite thing about the 556 is its legibility. Hands down the most legible crystal, hand and dial combo in my collection.
And yeah the clasp is fine, no issues or complaints.

Thanks Palicar

Can now recommendโฆ overbuilt/engineered for the price imo
Black white contrast absolutely
Awesome watch. I love my 556A. I have it on leather for now. But loved it on the bracelet. And will switch it back in the spring.
I have the 856 and the U50. I donโt mind the clasp at all. Totally agree.
Great looking 556! Very tempted to get one. Was trying to figure out the other day what the RS meant on the watch. Red Seconds?

Correct - red seconds
Man I want one. Wish I could try one on before commiting...
What movement is inside?
It's a good looking watch. Sinn does a great job and I'm not upset at what I've paid for the two I own. Enjoy!
I love mine. I went with the 556i. Unbelievably versatile and keeps great time at about +2 or 3. I went with the strap option as I donโt think the bracelet suits this watch. Glad youโre enjoying it!
Thank you. Yeah itโs tough cause they are not widely carried, maybe use this platform to find someone near you?? At 38.5mm, the case is perfect no matter your wrist size.
I've been eyeing the Sinn 856 GMT...I don't have a gmt in the collection
I loved mine - exact model - but having the reverser wheels go up in the 1st year and the clasp rattling all the time drove me to sell it. A real shame because, aesthetically, itโs top three for any watch Iโve owned. All that said, enjoy. Itโs a real beauty.

Sorry that happened broโฆ hopefully this one runs like a dream, so far so good ๐ค
Been saving up for this one. Will be my next purchase. Pictures like this keep me going.
Sheโll be waiting for you patiently ๐ซก

Thanks. Honestly, once it was fixed, it was a non-issue and likely never would be again. It needed a servicing eventually, I just did mine early lol. In all honesty, despite my experience, Iโm probably gonna pick up another one eventually.

But still cant decide if i want the rs or i ๐ง
For me, the only ' -' is the size. If they scaled it up just a mm or two, it would be close to perfection. Lume could be better, but I'm not one of life's lume-pigs and I don't put too much stow in clasps, so still love the bracelet - despite the slightly loose end-links. Still wear mine - 556A - more than any other watch though. ๐
damn, im planning to bought one hopefully this year
While the clasp isnโt as useful as one with on the fly adjustment it not only works incredibly well has enough adjustment but is thin and comfortable and hides a dive extension better than most
Loved my 556 fantastic watch
Enjoy
I wear my 566i most days. Itโs a fine watch.
