I can’t believe people are voting for the Speedy over the Strela which is a much more significant watch as the movement inside, the Poljot (Полёт) 3133 inside is of actually historic importance being the first extremely high-quality Soviet chronograph (and that Alexey Leonov wore on the first spacewalk)

Unfortunately mine is a modern production (a German firm owns the rights) with a ST19 (which is close to the original movement from my understanding), but I agree, thematically the Strela IMO does rival the Speedmaster in importance in terms of watches used in space.
Most appropriate watch to wear would be a sundial.
Eclipse doesn’t really have much bearing to the space race, but I guess the black moonswatch snoopy would be appropriate and a nod to Laika, the first sentient earth creature in space.
I love that one Soviet poster that’s like “Here’s the Moon, humanity!”, after their successful attempt at being their first people to put a rover on the Moon. Ballsy lol
That fact that you have all three makes me give you big props. The Shturmanskije Gagarin and the Strela are criminally underrated by watch enthusiasts. Granted, Shturmanskije has not done the best job of having a consistent model to have available in the way the Speedy is imo

What’s the thickness on this Strela? I can’t seem to find any info on it.
Bulova Lunar Pilot 😁🇺🇲
Worn by an American,
from an American Company (at the time)
& the path of totality is passing across America.
Love your opinions tho.
I'm a Brit 🇬🇧😉🤣

and like all good things American, manufactured in China 😂
I'd opt for a GMT.
Finally a time where it's dark even though it should be bright outside. Therefor GMT.
By far the best question I’ve seen on this platform ❤️
I'm wearing my Lunar Pilot
MoonSwatch Mission to the Sun of course, if you had it.

Speedy ftw!
A moonwatch for an event about the moon. I'm with my Bulova Lunar pilot for today, because I'm too poor to get a Omega Speedmaster XD
What, no Lunar Pilot? 😅
