BTW, Soviet-built Ladas were sold here in "Kanuckistan" (Canada) back in the 80's ... there were lots of 'em on the go back then, mainly 'cause they were inexpensive. The Lada Niva 4x4 was practically unstoppable in the snow!
They must've all rusted away however, as I haven't seen one in a few decades! LOL!
I have one of these, the blue dial version. I think this model is just gorgeous and not often discussed in social medial like other Vostok pieces. Congrats!

The guy I bought mine off also had a black one listed as Vostok 2403/581096
