How often to people put their dive watches on a leather strap? Put my BB58 on a De Lugs strap to give it a fresh feel. Definitely a strap monster.

I do it all the time! One of my divers isn’t available on a bracelet, but my Orient is, and I switch it out I’d say every week or so. I’m a bit light on new photos since I’ve been on a Crunch hiatus, and have only been back few days, but here are the couple divers I own that I felt worked on leather.
The teak strap came with my Shinola, along with a darker green NATO. I really like a black leather strap on the Orient now, I think it works a bit better than the teak leather that is in the photo, but it was what I liked at the time. Right now, I want a nice, thick rubber strap for my shinola. Something similar to a Panerai rubber strap with ridges and texture.
Looks nice. If there's one thing I'm not doing in my dive watch, it's diving. So don't see a problem with a leather strap.
I agree completely my the few times I dive I’ll use a dive computer and as it’s winter now I’m not even going in the water so why not a leather strap. My Orient Kamasu came on this brown leather strap.
If it looks good, do it. Now obviously, if you're gonna swim with it on, put anything BUT leather strap on it. But that Tudor BB58 looks great with a leather strap. I don't have the Tudor budget, but I like the look, and I have an Invicta 31290 "1953" that looks really good on a brown leather strap.
‘tis but a dead horse on this platform at this point. I believe a majority of us have concluded that we should just let each other wear what we want and that it is an antiquated idea to judge and condemn.
My Black Bay Bronze came in a leather strap so didn’t really have a choice haha
All the time!
What is the matter with all of you? A dive watch is a tool for use in the water. A leather strap deteriorates in the water. These two things do not go together. A diver belongs on a rubber strap or some other material that holds up well being in and out of the water. Putting a leather strap on it changes what it is from a dive watch to just a watch.
No problem
About 90% of Dive watch owners do not dive.👍
I don't have any leather straps right now, but this is making me think I should get some.
What about the waterproof leather that came on early Panerais and Anonimos? Kodiak, maybe was the brand...
Super love this #divewatch post
