Either I'm stupid or I'm not buy the right tool

Recently just bought a tweezer tool in an attempt to switch out a bracelet for a nato strap on my Longines Hydroconquest and for the life of me I cannot use it. While it may very well be user error, I think its the actual tool. Its a tool I bought on Amazon for about $25 and it isnt even on both sides. Is that how these tools are supposed to be? Is it user error? or does Longines just make there spring bars impossible to get to? I vaguely remember having the same issue with one of my Dolce Vita's. Anyone else have this problem?

I feel like the tweezer tool for the pins are not as good and the single hook steel tool. I have both and I never use the tweezer style

The pins are height adjustable on each side. I bought the same tool from Amazon. Really, Isn't that good of a tool. It was more frustrating than anything. Ended up using the hook tool instead.

They're crap.

Stick with a normal springbar tool ( Burgeon 6767f ) or on drilled lugs use a cocktail stick

Having a hydroconquset myself the are bastard to get the spring bars out it’s do able but very hard so I just keep it on the bracelet

I'm equally as stupid I'm afraid. I have yet to be able to find a springbar tool that I can use effectively. I have bought three of them starting at the low end in terms of price & then ultimately spending a lot on a Bergeon. I'm utterly hopeless with it.
