Do you have a seasonal favorite

Trigger warning. The following post is a result of a morning filled with oversleeping, boredom at work, and a lack of caffeine. with that being said I am aware that it is not that deep, there are no rules, everything is subjective to personal taste, and that the Dallas Cowboys suck. - Management

Mornings are getting chillier, the kids are annoyed with school, pumpkin spice is in everything, and they closed to pool at my apartment. Its beginning to be fall which means in about 3 days your favorite retail and grocery stores will start playing the holiday tunes (don't you hate that?).

I seen a post the other day asking essentially about winterizing your collection via straps, and although the general consensus was "fam there's no rules do what you want", I started thinking, what's a good watch for the fall/winter seasons? For me this past summer, I leaned on my Citizen pro diver automatic for my fun in the sun watch. The titanium was super light and durable, making me comfortable with not babying it as much as say my nicer pieces, add to that they seem relatively easy to get serviced if anything was to go wrong. Me being a millennial that needs to label EVERYTHING, I sorta made that my summer go to watch. But what should be my go to winter watch? A diver may still be the practical choice because Diver = Durable, right? does anyone have a fall/winter favorite?

My wife who hates mornings decided she needed coffee at 4:30am today, I just grabbed the nearest watch on our nightstand to wear, strangely appropriate for autumn.

hogwash, bronze isn't for everyone but it isn't ugly. This watch choice as a fall piece resonates with me because the citizen pro diver I speak of that got heavy wear in the summer, it has an older brother in my collection that's bronze on a rubber strap. I think I may have a candidate for my fall winter piece.

Perfect! Watch guys all have different ideas. I love my brown bronze first Tudor I bought after the brand returned to NA.

BEST,

Same watches, but in summer I prefer a bracelet, in winter it's gotta be NATO.

I’m planning on buying a BB54 for the *autumn and winter. The black dial with warm gold markings, black rubber for comfort and versatility. Perfectly slips under the cuff and can handle all sporty/loungy surroundings too.
