Back from a service, at last!

Just got my Tudor North Flag back from a service. It's seems to have been gone forever. I know it's not everyone's cup of tea but I love it. I bought it in 2015 when they first came out and it's been brilliant. It's a watch I could never sell. I'll pass it on to my kids when the time comes. It's hard some rough treatment over the last 9 years but, for me it's a great watch.

Yeah, I'd used it for work and for play, so it was pretty badly marked on the case,. I'd showered with it on and so the strap looked grubby. The crystal had a scratch on it and it just wanted an all over service really. I'm glad to hear that you appreciate yours..... I think they're a perfect watch. It's a good looking watch. Have fun.

Gutted I didn't get one when I got the opportunity 😢 By far Tudor's standout model, so much cooler than the BB's. Lovely 😍👍👍

·

This and the PO-1 don't get the appreciation they should imo.

·

Exactly

·

One of the most underappreciated watches in the modern Tudor catalog

·

Did you send it back to Tudor for service? How long did the service take?

·

Yeah, I sent it back via Beaverbrooks . It was gone for 6 weeks. It's come back looking brand new.

My ad brought in a 1st gen Ranger for me to consider, decided to also order in a NF which I chose without hesitation over the Ranger which was overly large for the plain dial imo. I purchased the PO1 along with a BB58 which I have since passed along to my younger daughter. The NF, PO1 and now the black ceramic Metas BB watch are poor sellers according to the 2 sales pros at the Tudor boutique that I sometimes visit. Of course the NF was discontinued a few years ago but makes you wonder if Tudors really appeal to serious enthusiasts? When I picked up my new Ranger, the young guy pointed to the ceramic in a display case as being a disappointment with regards to sales, customers were anxious to source them until they were actually available. I suggested that the black watch does not appeal to everyone, was a bit more expansive than other models in the brand catalogue.

I meant expensive

I have a 2019 on the way in the mail. I was considering having it polished by Tudor. What did service cost? If the watch will be gone for a while I may as well have it serviced too maybe.

·

It's the first one I have seen, and I think it looks great

·

This is my favourite Tudor, then the pelagos range.

In my opinion, this is the coolest modern Tudor.

I think people have been sleeping on this one!

To me, this has always been Tudor's answer to Rolex's Explorer, a classic watch but with an even more hardcore and modern tool-watch aesthetic.

I think the black and yellow color combination is perfect and I love the font used for 6 and 12.

I desperately want Tudor to bring this model back!

Slim it down a little and make a few size variations, refine the design a little bit:

I'd personally love to see them experiment with a bigger date window and a unique font for the date.

The North Flag is so cool and has so much potential, I don't want Tudor to go down the path of Audemars Piguet, just making slight variations of the same watch and milking it dry.

#BornToDare remember? 🥺
