If i could!?

  1. If i could i would make Lindbergh and Weems in 40-42mm size, because they are with 47mm size practically unwearable.

  2. If i could i would make Seiko Alpinist a bit bigger, because in my opinion with that kind of small dial on my wrist looks small.

Beautiful watches 😪 🤤

What would you do if you could make some small changes in watch industry?

All watches to come with a 36mm option.

·

Release the original 017 for it’s original price.

·

I have recently returned to sourcing watches from brands that exist below what most consider to be luxury such as Longines. Both the Longines Lindberg and Weems are watches that I once pursued, vintage but prices were beyond my realistic financial reach. There is a great deal I would want to change in the watches that appeal to me but perhaps not the Weems and Lindberg which thanks to your mention, I intend to consider buying the modern iterations.

·

Thinner Seiko. Seiko watches are great, but generally too thick... It would be great if they can reduce their thickness by about 1-2mm.

On that Japanese note, Citizen needs to do less unchangeable straps 😜.

Beautiful watches. Work of art in my opinion, bit with this size, i would put rather put them on the wall than on my wrist

My presage is not too thick, but divers... yes... my king samurai is a chunky one... but i wear it all the time.

True, you can say that about so many items from Longines’ catalogue.

Titanium case for the Casio AE1200.

....a fellow can dream, right?

·

Get manufacturers to produce all their dive watches without the poxy date complications!! Or at least do both, so we have a choice....🙏

All watches to come with a 42mm option.... 😀

That could also come with a chain..... 😉

·

Completely agree on the Longines. I’d love one but even on my 7.5” wrist….no way.

·

Screw all that noise. If you like it wear it and enjoy it. I don't care if it's small enough to look like a tennis bracelet or big enough to look like a 45 LP on your wrist. Your money and your style of choice. Don't let arbitrary "industry" standards dictate your life style.

You be you and love what you like 👍🏾💪🏾

Exactly, you see a design you like. Thin or thick, large or small, wild and crazy or subtle and understated you wear it with pride for what it makes you feel.

I like the idea of sourcing alternatives to Longines particularly for dress watches. Outside of vintage and micros, what brands appeal to you?

I am pretty boring with watch brands, lately have returned to Baume & Mercier, collected Breitling since forever, have some older Blancpain, Brequet really in love with Grand Seiko. More than brands, I am interested in triple calendar moonphases, gmt watches. Of course complete fool for Cartier Santos.

What a great collection! B&M is more my speed budget-wise. I’ll take a look. Thx.

I bought Blancpain and Brequet a million years ago, sitting in a bank box since renovations, things were much more affordable in the 80s seller was also the agent 40-50% courtesy discount. Watch community much more diverse today. It was just boring guys with no social skills in the old days. I inherited my love for watches from my dad.

My regular ad tells me that B&M will be launching a limited edition(50) sometime in late Oct or Nov a perpetual calendar in the Riviera line, steel with a salmon dial. 2 in Canada not cheap but priced well for a a perpetual calendar watch. I will look but most likely take a pass, there are so many other models that intrigue me still.

Rolex Explorer 36mm...in platinum. Let the hate begin.

·

I really like the Lindbergh. I'd keep it at 47mm, but make it half the price! 😂

I would give the quartz PRX 35mm a frame on the date window.

Ooohhh, i thought I was the only who has fetish with date window frames . I have longines master collection and i miss that frame so much.

·

I love Longines and love Pilot watches and I understand they were originally large watches. I would say, I would love to see more brands giving options for all of the following 36mm, 38mm and 40mm. Some are starting to do this.
