Squale vs. Doxa
Both these reputable, Swiss brands have a ton of history, being the forefront of dive watches thought the 60s and 70s. Despite this, they have separate styles that are both excellent. Which do you prefer?

How about both? I love my Doxa 200 and will get a 300T soon. But Squale is also on the shortlist.
Both! 😍 i love my 1521 but I have a Doxa planned for May sometime. Here we are straight out of dog bathing duty.

I'm a squale owner. But to be honest... I'd much rather have a doxa
Both have a great history. But believe Doxa is owned elsewhere now. Unsure on Squale. For me I cannot get over the logo of Squale it really bugs me. Doxa Army I’d love to try however I know it wouldn’t be a keeper.

The Doxa's look nice but I still feel that the Cerulean blue Squale 1521 is the most alluring dive watch there is.

Whilst I am more prone to the design of Doxa, I think Squale are currently making a better watch for less money. I think Doxa are more of a business than a watchmaker these days? Just my opinion, love them both and good comparison.👍
Squale for me, I have a few....... but they have just raised their prices by 20% which is madness.

We reviewed the Doxa and enjoyed it. Haven't gotten a Squale yet ......

Crazy isn't it, I got mine in December for what I now realise was a very good price! They are fantastic watches I absolutely love my 1545. But when I'm looking at the price of basically the same watch as mine in terms of the specs and it's over £1k, it does make me a bit sad 😢
Historically, Squale cases designed for 500m water resistance, with the crown located at the 4 o'clock position, were sold to Doxa…

That is a leather gray strap, but its now on the strap that came with my CW.

Squale, since they actually made cases for Doxa I’m Blancpain among others 😂
Doxa for the colour , Squale for the price
They both have merit. Hard to beat the cost/value when it comes to Squale. I'd say both are on par with finishing. I'd be hard pressed to give either up over the other.
