Maybe in need a parachute for mine- im liking it but the A11 void still needs filled- hamilton is out of my budget right now. I thinking about Timex, but I keep looking at the Orient defender 2 or an srpg27/snz13/15...I keep looking at san martin and they outspec the seikos and orients, but they lack the character, brand feel, etc so idk
This is how I am determining my grails- but so far I still don't know- too many choices.. I'm thinking it might be a 3 watch collection- land/sea/air or GADA/Dress/Sport idk yet
Hey! I like your videos- watched one about the QM- which is the other brand I was going to mention with some cool quartz options- they have the "Platoon" with the VH31- keep up the good content!
Chinese watches are how I got here lol- can't afford to collect anything else besides weird old eBay watches- seiko 5s too
We all know Quartz can be a dirty word- but I have 5 really cool quartz watches-
- KS Homage by Escapement Time with a Seiko VH31 Sweeping Quartz
- Citizen Eco Drive Radio-Controlled (I mean cmon- so cool- Kohls glitch got it to me for $54)
- Citizen Eco-Drive 2-Tone (don't know the model or ref off the top of my head)
- Parnis Bellytanker Homage with Seiko MechaQuartz- VK63(?- there's a bunch of them- can't remember which)
- Casio MDW(or H?)xxxx (again, ref #s escape me)- 3-Hand 200m Black Resin case, Orange accents, Arabics on the dial
Anyhow- it has its place in my collection out of convenience at the very minimum- sometimes I just don't want to set or wind a watch, but need something other than what I'm wearing.
Just my 2 cents. By the way this is a super cool platform
