It's here!! New Sub Date 126610LN from the AD - 23 months wait!!
Well, the watch gods heard my whining and gave me some good news this morning!
The AD called and said my Sub Date was in and ready for me. I paid a deposit over the phone, and picked the watch up around an hour later in the early afternoon today.
It's absolute perfection on my 6.75" wrist. The thinness, the balance, the clasp and bracelet, the shine of the bezel in the sunlight. It's really fantastic and I look forward to wearing it a lot in rotation with about a dozen other pieces ranging from Omegas to Casios.
As per the title, I've waited since March 2021. I did not have purchase history with them and didn't buy anything from them in the time I've waited.
Now it's time to take a step back and see what may be next on the wish list over the coming months. I sold more than a dozen watches in the last 12 months alone to gather funds for this and I may pick up a few of the watches I've let go in the past now that the Sub has come in. It was a goal for such a long time, much longer than the 23 months, so it's a great feeling of contentment that it's finally with me.
