My new Timex
Just arrived today. Timex Marlin Automatic California Dial. I like the mid century style of this watch and have been considering a California dial for a year or two. 40mm x 13mm, acrylic crystal, miyota movement, hacks (but it has a ghost date), display case back. It's day one, but so far I am very happy with it. I just love the idea of a vintage style automatic Timex.

The 1st time I saw a California dial (about 3 or 4 years ago) the mixing of arabic and roman numbers bothered me a lot. Then about a year ago (and several watches later) finding something different than what I already owned became a goal and all of a sudden the California dial looked good to me - I didn't have anything like it.
Not a huge fan of Cali Dials, but this one looks fantastic! 👍
Dominic @sossij has one of these and I have been admiring his for a while now. It really is the best looking modern Timex.. IMO 🤓
