OP 41: Which of these is your favorite?

Of these three Rolex Oyster Perpetual dial options, which do you like best? I like all three for different reasons, but I’m curious what the rest of you think. And please let me know your reasons in the comments.

I picked the Blue. The black looks to much like an Explorer. And the silver doesn’t have any contrast. Blah.

·

I'd go black, because it's more versatile

·

I voted for the black because it is less flashy

·

As much as I like the blue, I would choose either the black or the silver due to versatility and more retro/classic look. For me personally, I'd go for the sliver as I have quite a few dark/black dialed watches in my collection.

·

I like the silver in 36mm. I have a blue DJ41 (Jubilee and fluted bezel) which I love to pieces and could have easily voted for the blue. I do have a soft spot for the silver DJ 36, so maybe that’s why I voted for the silver OP.

You’re right, contrast/legibility is a concern with the silver. But I do really like the yellow gold hands and indices on that one.

Black is my favorite color in general. My daughter jokes that I’m “emo” because I wear so much black. 😂

But yes, it is very versatile.

I think any color OP looks retro/classic, even in 41mm. Well, except the new Celebration dial, haha.

The blue Datejust is beautiful, too.

Silver for me. I have enough blue and black dial watches.

·

I picked the black because Im boring. Black is always the safe bet, cant go wrong with it.

I actually have another silver dial watch that looks perhaps too similar to the silver OP. But that’s not a dealbreaker.

It’s not going out of style, ever, plus it won’t clash with anything. And it has maximum contrast.

I own a OP 41 green dial and I love it. It does look black in some low light situations and it looks cool so you can’t go wrong with black but I think I like silver the best. You really couldn’t go wrong with any of the choices though

·

I went for black but my actual answer is the green lacquer!

·

I have the silver dial and I love that its a warmer tone of silver. It will go with anything!

That’s a beautiful piece.

Thank you! It will be a permanent piece in my collection until I hand it down to my niece.

The blue is stunning in person!
