Twelve X pics taken with my phone …

Hi all,

Here’s the Twelve X on my wrist.

Shot on a regular iPhone 13 on a sunny day.

It is absolutely one of the most impressive watches I’ve had the pleasure of wearing.

It is legible but not traditional.

It has a lovely presence on the wrist at 41mm but not over powering.

The titanium feels fantastic, especially when you see and feel the Tungsten rotor. Very balanced.

It has a higher price than the core collection of CW but this is part of our atelier collection and I’d compare it to what we did price wise for Bel Canto. I’m not a fan of saying ‘great watch for the money’ but this is ALOT of innovation, artisanship and watch making technology for what you’re paying. Truly lovely.

Thank you all so much for the love and honesty you’re giving the brand this morning!!

Impressive release - a better looking watch than the Bel Canto in my opinion. The finishing on the titanium looks to be excellent - the movement looks exquisite too.

Congrats and best of luck with the sales.

·

Very nice toolish look. 🔥🤩

Any plans for anything else skeletonised? At a lower price, in steel & non integrated? Love the dial (or lack of) and handset, just not a fan of Genta style or titanium.

Good luck tho 🤞🏻👍🏻

Not yet sir but lots to come!

·

Not my personal style but looks great on wrist.

·

Looks so good! Christopher Ward are killing it at the moment

Splendid 👍🏻

Look forward to future releases.

Good luck with this, it'll be another hit 👍🏻

·

The 3 dimensional depth of the dial is muuuuch more clearly shown in these wrist shots than in renders/the product photos. Beautiful watch

·

Not a fan of skeletized watches myself but this is one of the best I’ve seen. Love the grey of the titanium, really gives it a steampunk-esque look.

·

It must be great to try on brand-new watches barely released.

·

Not my cup of tea…

·

Great looking watch. Congratulations to Christopher Ward on the 20 years and good luck moving forward. I look forward to seeing what comes next.

·

I really love this! And have almost been waiting for something like the for the Twelve. Would you be able to shed a little light on the movement ?

Thanks Mike!

Lots of fun for sure

·

It looks so much better in these wrist shots than in the pictures on the site. It's beautiful!

·

It’s spectacular 🤩, I thought it was a zenith for a second.

·

Looks great. Can't deny CWs ambition in the watch world. I could conceivably go for this. Need to check it out properly. London showroom?

·

Reminds me of the ORIS Propilot X calibre 115.

·

Very similar to the Zenith defy which I had almost bought...

Maidenhead but I’d also love for our events coming up in and around London https://www.christopherward.com/int/events.html

·

It looks great, makes me like skeleton dials a lil more

·

Damn, it looks way nicer on your photos than on the CW webpage 😀

·

I like the adjustable clasp, but I prefer the concept to this.

·

Markers on the lume ring is such a big upgrade over the Apex. Looks amazing.

I'm seeing so many comments on YouTube videos and Reddit about the price and I just don't understand why people think it's too expensive. Most of the watch community are still stuck in the mindset that a sub should be 5k and a speedy 3k but that's just not the reality anymore. 10k is the new 5k, for better or for worse.

The watch is stunning and a great addition for those who really want a well made watch that is a little out of the ordinary. Can't wait to also see the micro-adjust trickle down to the standard models as well.

·

6500 aussie dollars for a watch where I can barely tell the time??

No f***ing way

This design is so stunning! I love how wearable it is, and I'm really impressed with what CW is doing here. Great job!

Note: I definitely agree with 95% of the comments on YouTube, and probably with all the other posts on WC, about its price. It's a great watch and also made of titanium with a double sapphire sandwich with a great-finished movement. However, IMO the current market is only buying these great pieces at that price range if they are limited editions.

Please keep more of these coming. 👏 awesome.

·

Congratulations on a truly impressive release! I'll echo some of the comments that it looks particularly good on wrist. I've never been one for skeleton dials myself (and I'm very much enjoying my most recent pick-up The Twelve in titanium), but I admire how you guys keep pushing the envelope and surprising the industry with what you're able to accomplish AND make more accessible on a regular basis. Cheers! 🍻

You just described the opposite of this watch. :-)
