Agreed. Certainly a good looking watch. I'm just surprised modified a Miyota 9015 to make a 12-hour GMT. Now that's something different.
Exactly! Ken is definitely thinking differently. Along with a design concept which focused, meaning this watch is not available in six different colours or available in different materials.
I have chatted to him many times, very approachable and always ready to talk watches…he is one to watch in the future for sure.

I prefer microbrands and as for now - never disappointed. :-)

This is the first watch Ken from Arken made, I have this one. He is a good dude, always available for any questions. Send him a message. 👍🏼

Oh wow....now that is amazing. Huh, they copied the VC Overseas bracelet design. Nice.

Inspired by certainly… full titanium. I just loved the muted colour palette. Very cool 😎

Go for the Baltic hermetique! I have it in beige and got loads of compliments, and offers different vibes on the BOR vs tropic strap

It’s got a distinct non generic personality and an interesting vintage vibe.

Took me a bit to find a used one that also had the NATO adapters.
Check out Nodus!

Ahhh the Arken Link! Bit of a faff to swap… but gives it huge versatility.
DuFrane is also great value and they use Swiss movements.
Check out Nodus!
Also agree with this lol. 👌🏻
And while you're at it check out:
Lorier
Helm
Elliot Brown
Imperial Watch Co
Stirling
Sangin
Winfield

Forgot about my fellow Texans.
Speaking of Texans, also have Jack Mason.
Echo/Neutra are worth a look. I’ve got their field watch with a moonphase
But they have some great looking divers as well if that’s what you’re after.
Venezianico have very nice watches with quite good movements.
Lots of good info / thanks everyone🙂
If you like a bit toned down/vintage inspired designs, be sure to check out Traska.
I especially like their Seafarer model. One day maybe 🤤
Of the two I like the Baltic. I’ve got an Undone and it has been rock solid and fun to wear.
Nomadic is a hidden gem in microbrands, it is without a doubt, the best quality microbrand watch I've had in my hands! 10000% recommended!!
