Out of sight, never out of mind.

Yesterday whas the day that the BB58 left the collection. I put it online 5 days ago and found an interested buyer about 2 days ago. Agreed upon €3400 for the BB58 including an after market rubber strap and a Gassan watch pouch. He told me it whas going to be his first luxury purchase so we sat down in a nice coffeeplace and i brought the rest of my humble collection for him to try some other things on. One and a half hours later this is the point we were at trying to fit the rubber strap but the springbars were to long. So we ended up putting the steel back on there. He transfered the money i handed him the watch, and we agreed that if he ever wanted to sell it he would contact me first. So that if i ever want a 58 again i can have my own. So anyways it looks like another one has fallen victim to this cripling addiction lads, whoopsie.

Very nice of you to meet up with the buyer and show how change straps and try it on. What will you add to your collection next?

Sounds like your aftersales customer service is commendable!

·

Sounds like a very nice transaction...how rare

·

You are a brave individual to display thousands of $ in watches in a public coffee house with a stranger.

All’s well that ends well.

·

Glad it was a nice sale :)

always good to have another contact

Poor him! Hahahhaha

BB58 can't go wrong with it.

Nice looking collection there and lucky guy who got your BB58! Even cooler that you always have the option to purchase it back. I go so back and forth on what I want next from Tudor. The Pelagos was always my first love and I recently got ahold of one after waiting 10 years!

Now just to pick between the BB Pro, the BB Heritage 41, The BB41, or the Ranger... LOL so many choices and I didn't even include the BB GMT or the BB Chrono which I would also love too... What a hobby and what an addiction. Cheers!

That is a very good question to be honest, i have been lustering over a submariner for a while hence the 58. But i think that my liking and taste for now have me leaning more towards a gmt master 2 or the tudor gmt with the opaline dial. I think that would look so amazing on a black rubber strap with the contrast.

I loved the way the Chrono was on wrist at my AD. The GMT felt really solid too. I have just over an 8" wrist so their chunkier cases feel great on wrist and I love the presence.

Only thing to keep in mind is that the movement in the chrono is a modivied B01 movement, so with that u will get the noisy rotor and tough winding. Besides that its great. And for the gmt i have yet to see a pepsi version irl but i think it would be a dream aswell.

Highly recommend checking out the Pepsi in the metal. I think they're great! Just can't decide on that vs the BB pro for the next one to come on wrist... stay tuned!

True the prices on the fora for used watches at the same age is around 2700+/- however this one was not used. Fully stickered and unworn including the aftermarket strap and watch pouch. Seeing how the list is 3900+ now he offered me 3300 i told him i thought 3400 would be fairer. None the less, yes i am happy with what i got for it and also fortunate to find him at this point in his watch journey.
