Golden oldie, careless days.
Today on the wrist at work, a seiko 19 jewel automatic with day and date complication. A true beater in the sence, this watch whas produced in april of 1973 and will be having its 50th birthday in less than a month!!! Bought it at a thriftshop about 4 years ago for €12,50 put a new sapphire on there and she is still going strong. A little while ago i pulled out the stem when trying to set the watch, jammed her back in and were all good. Its truely not abount the cost of a watch but the story behind it and the feelings it invoces. I just love thinking off all the diferent people who wore this watch at different points in their life.

Besides a watch having a story - which is best - getting a good deal on one is also supremely satisfying, as I love a bargain. Sounds like yours has both covered! 🍻
Classic piece. Really dig that watch.
