I’m an Orient fan, along with Seiko, I’ve been eyeing this for a while…..just didn’t feel like ordering from Japan and waiting, customs etc……

42.8 mm, sapphire crystal, great lume, and way cheaper than the Seiko Speedtimer, lug width 22mm, lug-to-lug 48mm.
I strongly considered this but went for the Orient Neo Panda instead. Although the subdials are more spread out in the one you got, I couldn't get past the no. 12 haha

I like Orient watches and own a Defender II. In my opinion they would sell an absurd amount of watches if they'd change the logo - IMHO it is the only downside to Orient watches (I would never buy a Grand Seiko for that matter too)

What size is it?
I’ve only recently got my first Orient and can confirm it’s a great watch. I went for the Ray II in PVD black, love everything about it.
I got orient ray .. orient will surprise you good built diver

Is it straight Panda, or is it navy blue?
Great watch!! I have this one also. I got it back around Christmas. It is my only Orient as most of my watches are quartz. I love that this one is solar quartz. I have always wanted a Panda since I saw Paul Newmans Daytona. When I saw this one I had to have it. Runs like a champ. Kind of a got Diver creds with Daytona looks. I love mine.

I hear you, but I have a 7 inch wrist , so 41 to 43 mm is my sweet spot.
