Weird state of collecting
Been actively collecting watches for about three years now. During that journey I never would have thought it would come to this.
With my collection you see in the picture I have reached a state of satisfaction with what I got. I have a watch for every occasion I could stumble into and I deeply love all of them from the design wear to the memories I built on the way. I don’t really like dive watches but love chronographs which explains the choice you see above.
Of course I still look at the shop windows with watches in them or online reviews and videos, but somehow right now I don’t feel the need to get another watch. A feeling I never had before.
It’s kinda weird.. not that I don’t enjoy it.. but… will I get back to the normal state of wanting more soon? Have you been in a similar situation for longer? 🤔
We got so little time on this world, only thing you can do is put it on your wrist.
Yes…right now as a matter of fact. Watch box full and each piece has a purpose…and one incoming 🤣. Have a day to decide who gets voted off the island.

I’ve reached a similar state. After a few months of rather intense buying (several micro brands I never thought I’d get suddenly did productions runs, all at the same time!) I feel pretty content. The one being delivered today is sort of the capstone. (I’ll admit I just ordered a cheap display box for the second string lot.)
Congratulations! You have an awesome collection. There’s nothing wrong with being content. It’s like eating a great meal. You’re full, happy and content. The only problem is you get hungry again. Enjoy the contentment for as long as it lasts.

I am in the same position of satisfaction with my collection right now. There’s nothing I really need or want. I made it through Wind Up without buying anything rather too easily. It’s a good feeling.

Thank you very much for letting me know and for the close up. I think it looks great. I'm hoping there may be a silver coloured one to consider as I don't know if I can pull off gold. I will perhaps give it a go!
