As long as it isn’t broken, it really doesn’t bother me what material the Crystal is made from!
It’s only there to protect the dial at the end of the day… they will all break/scratch/chip or shatter in any extreme scenario.
I have a 7.25” wrist, albeit rather wide and flat.
My smallest watch is a 35mm diameter/36mm lug to lug Seiko king quartz and I don’t feel that it’s too small, I enjoy wearing it, although the 16mm (narrowest part of taper) bracelet is less comfortable than a wider one for myself.
Biggest is a Casio Protrek 47mm diameter/51mm lug to lug which is the biggest I will go, this still doesn’t overhang but anything more would be extreme!
42mm diameter/49mm lug to lug is perfect for me!
My physiology allows for a wide array of sizes so I do feel lucky!
The one I always choose if I’m expecting some tough situations or chance of damage etc is my Casio pro trek (PRW50-Y)
Wears quite large on my 7.2” wrist, but it does everything I would need and more, seems very hard wearing and I’m not as worried because it feels like it’s in an environment it was made for. I almost enjoy testing it’s ruggedness!
