As far as my knowledge goes, the Beside is a range of dressier watches specifically for the Asian market.
Similar to Casio having Sheen and Oceanus lineup’s.
There’s a few models in the Beside lineup but all seem somewhat limited or harder to come by (dependant on where you are in the world; UK for me so this range isn’t available here)

I've looked at the Casio Beside models on eBay. I believe you're right. These are JDM models. I found a couple vintage inspired pieces I like.

I assume it’ll be 30m as it doesn’t say 50/100 etc on the case and just says water resist on the dial.
Which I believe is Casio’s grade II
