Great video! Love this watch and #grandseiko9f movement! I really want a #grandseiko#sbgx261 one day because of this impressive movement and 37mm diameter.
If you think about it, it just makes sense that some watchmaker would eventually make a truly luxury quartz movement in a phenomenal case. Quartz really is the “superior” timekeeping technology if you think about it. I think Grand Seiko (and Citizen with the Chronomaster collection) really breathes life into a “lifeless” quartz movement.
This is the most underrated watch among all the other fabulous models rolled out by GS. The 9F quartz GMT is the underdog thats going to tell you the accurate time forever! Absolutely love this and eyeing it for the next watch purchase.

Absolutely my friend! Quartz movements were never meant to be dirt cheap! The Pulsar P2 was like £10,000 !
Excellent review mate, really enjoyed it. I love the look of it but don't really go in for GMTs. If I did, and had the loot, I would be interested. Grand Seiko just reeks of class to me.

Most anti- Quartzites heads would explode at the thought of spending large amounts on a "quartz".
No matter how justified the price might be.
So many just can't wrap their heads around the fact that incredibly intricate quartz movements exist.
The same group that says " I'd never spent that much on a Seiko."
I'd never spend that much on a Seiko.
😀
Love this piece Russ. Great review my friend!
Genuinely well-meaning feedback: you had me with substance but lost me on style. Too many cuts and effects.
