Hey folks, I recently bought a GMT watch and had my own logos added to it. The process was awesome, and the watch turned out beautiful with its blue and purple bezel and purple dial. But now, I'm not sure if it was a good idea.
Did I cross a line by customizing a sterile watch? Is this something that watch lovers will look down on? I'm not sure how to feel about it. I'd appreciate any honest thoughts or feedback from you guys. Have I done something wrong, or am I overthinking it?

I was about to do the same thing but I can't decide on my logo just yet. It's a good looking watch. Stay Thirsty My Man 🍻👊🏽
For someone like me who loves individuality (Damascus steel cases, MOP dials, engravings) there is nothing wrong about it. Someone focussing on resale value may think otherwise.
Not at all! It's your watch, after all. Better than sterile (and that itself is better than a Seiko logo).
A watchmaker from Brno builds funny Seiko builds with various funny logos, such as a Desk Diver (logo: office chair), Desk Flyer (office chair with wings), PALCATi (a Tudor Pelagos clomage. palcát = mace, per the mace-like hour hand, Ti for titanium) etc.
The only reservation I have is for the colour scheme - the dial should be purple, and divide the blue and red of the bezel. Like in court: Red prosecutor, purple judge, blue barrister.
Its your property my friend 👌doesn't concern anyone else what you do with it.

You've done nothing wrong & you're over thinking it.
It's your watch. Why care what randos from the interwebs think about it?
Be happy and just enjoy what you created, it is unique!
