Do they look too similar?

"Hey everyone! I've been checking out this Sugess chronograph with a white dial, and I can't help but notice that it shares design elements with both the Breitling chronograph and the Hamilton American Classic INTRA-MATIC AUTO CHRONO. I'm curious to hear your thoughts on this. Do you think the Sugess watch looks too similar to the Breitling and Hamilton, or does it have enough differences to be considered an homage or 'inspired by' piece? Please take a look at the attached photos and share your opinions!

I'm eager to hear your thoughts on how the Sugess compares to both the Breitling and the Hamilton. Thanks!"

I personally don鈥檛 mind homages. If you really want this Sugess, go get and enjoy it!

I definitely think it's heavily inspired by the Breitling.

At this point however it will be increasingly difficult to not borrow elements from established watches.

They both look good, and if you either don't want or don't have the budget for the Breitling then I say go for it!

Curious as to why the Sugess caught your eye with so many "panda" chronos out there. I'll have to look them up.

Nothing wrong with an Homage watch IMHO! 馃憤

I hate it when Breitling copy Sugess designs. In seriousness though, I think they are very different

That thought came to my mind recently too鈥 But not sure if it is an 鈥淗omage鈥 or just a retro chrono style. Similar situation with the Hamilton American Classic:

Don't all pandas come from China anyway?

Of course they are very similar but honestly all Panda Chronographs of this Type kind of look the same to me. I think Sugess takes the best of both designs and puts it in the Seagull 1963 Case giving it it鈥榮 own character and I personally enjoy it.
