As a former designer, it's very important to me, and some brands feel just like ew, like Formex? It sounds like a condom brand or whatever, and logo is ugly as sin. Also, I don't like watches with paragraphs written on it's dial, I mean I DON'T NEED to know how deep it can go, or it's automatic, or even if it's a chronometer. So all in all, 2 or 3 lines are the perfect balance imo. Sterile dials are too empty but modern Rolex sub has way too much text. I would say JLC master control gen 2 is like, perfect.
