My first mechanical
I started out looking for a quartz diver and ended up getting this vintage inspired mechanical from Merkur. I love how the hands play with the light.

I like the watch and I like the brand. I especially like their mechanical line like yours because it retains an essential Chinese quality.

It's a handsome looking wristwatch, no doubt!.
Though I collect wind up, digital and Automatic watches, I have a soft spot for vintage Automatic pieces.
If you service them regularly and take care of them (Don't allow them to sit too long) they are literally masterpieces of watch engineering.
If you intend to purchase more Automatics, I would recommend investing in a good electric winder. It really helps to keep them running accurately.
Many will laugh at my next comment!, but I think of Automatic movements like a Ferrari engine, maintain and keep them running and they will never let you down. But leave a Ferrari sitting unused and it's goodbye to your bank balance!.

I love the look of the Merkur Panda Chrono (Pierre Paulin). It is on my wishlist. I'll be looking for a sale on singles day (Nov 1).
