Timex Galli S2
I just got this email from Timex.
I looked around and there was nothing on this watch except for the “to be released” page on their website and this thread on r/watches.
No blogs, no Hodinkee, no videos (even from the people that cover Timex releases).
I guess some lucky redditor found some accidentally released info.
The rundown:
Swiss made
Titanium
Less than $1000 USD
I’ve always said that the S1, espthe 38mm version, is the best watch Timex can make and if my time collecting Timex is over, I’m satisfied because the S1 is that good.
Now, I think I need to make room for just one more Timex.

I heard some of the previous renditions had crystal issues, of all things. A lot of reviews on Timex’s website for the watch said they were always cracking or found to be broken out of nowhere. Made me hesitant to go for the 38mm when it was released. I think it’s one of the best model lines Timex offers honestly. Hopefully this version is a home run.

The 38 had a crystal upgrade to sapphire, which they then added to newly manufactured 41s (if Timex can upgrade components on the fly, then why can’t Tudor just give the t-fit to the BB58?)

That looks nothing like any interation of a Timex Galli.
Yeah, considering how nice the current Galli line looks, I'm pretty disappointed with the boring dial they went with in this release.

I got the exact same Email. It looks really nice, although the last one they made had a lot of QC issues.
