Vintage 1980s Poljot with Rare Stainless Steel Case - A Review

As a collector of Soviet Watches, I can tell you that most of them are very utilitarian pieces. Most of them will have chrome or gold plated brass cas...

I have three. My G-Shock DW-5600E, my Vostok Amphibia, and my Venezianico Neirede.

Well that’s something I didn’t expect to see today. It’s a Vostok Komandirskie from the 1980s, made in the USSR. Google Vostok Khabba online and you’ll see a few of them. Definitely an rare dial. The crown being at two o’clock is also something that is relatively uncommon as well.

You have a really nice collection as well. I really like your vintage barrel case Amphibia’s in particular. I’ll probably buy one next.

Thank you for the kind words! Yeah they don’t make a lot of dress watches. Raketa is still making the Copernicus and Vostok has one dress watch that they make, but other than that, nothing in the dress watch category from Russia.

Meranom.com is probably $10-$20 cheaper, but I have no idea if you can pay for it on their site due to sanctions.
