Have been wearing it to work trying to get it banged up so I can justify upgrading/modifying it, already have the sapphire crystal and orange minute hand, maybe if the bezel gets some nicks while mechanic-ing I’ll buy a ceramic lumed insert? And then I could go find some courage to take it apart and install those upgrades :)
The only time I remember thinking I should wear a specific watch was when it was single digits here in CO and I knew there was a great chance of me being stuck working outside. I chose my trusty old G-Shock GWM5610 mainly because it’s the slimmest one and wouldn’t get stuck on sleeves and no moving parts.
What kind of camera are you using? I second the natural light but would add that artificial light has its own benefits when positioned right.
I was going through my photos and it seems I like to blur the background, very easy with a big cameras, if using iPhone I get better results if I do not use portrait mode or macro
Artificial lighting examples
Canon EOS 77D
This one using iPhone Pro
This one actually did not turn out like I have envisioned, the watch is still too dark.
Some Natural light photos
Canon EOS 77D
iPhone Pro
I really try to make sure the reflections don’t capture anything I don’t want in the photo
Another iPhone photo, this one I smudged the lens to get that light effect
