No matter how hard I try I just can't get these right. This is one of my favorites. Compared to the genius I see here is confounding. I love this site and would love to hear a few tips and tricks.
Usually good lighting, setting/environment, and equipment will do it. But being authentic is even better, unless your authentic self is a professional photographer. Here are some of my favorites shot on a camera phone…not perfect but all me.
I love them thanks for the thought. I see myself in them. I am a bit of a perfectionist so it can be frustrating when my results to match up to what I see as perfection. Your photos are an example of a kind of perfection. That of authenticity. Thanks mate.
Natural light is 1000% better than artificial light. I can't take good shots indoors, Sunlight helps brings the dials to life better. Less light source reflections too.

What kind of camera are you using? I second the natural light but would add that artificial light has its own benefits when positioned right.
I was going through my photos and it seems I like to blur the background, very easy with a big cameras, if using iPhone I get better results if I do not use portrait mode or macro

Canon EOS 77D
This one using iPhone Pro
This one actually did not turn out like I have envisioned, the watch is still too dark.

I really try to make sure the reflections don’t capture anything I don’t want in the photo
Another iPhone photo, this one I smudged the lens to get that light effect

Thought this was was pretty cool. This is under some natural light. Anyways. Thanks for all the advice.
Yeah, my attempts have not looked good, but then I see stock photos that the brands use and they're awful.
