NWA Phoibos Eagle Ray GMT
Sooo I was never much of an impulse buyer, always did reasearch then couple of months or more of justifying to myself wether I really need it or not, am I going to use this new item or is it going to be sitting in a drawer forgotten and sad… well thanks to joining the WC and @nickwt8 I am a proud owner of this impulse buy!
This is a reissue of the one that released maybe 2-3 years ago? The only difference I noticed is that it does not have roman numerals on the railroad track. It has Sapphire with multiple layers of AR coating, 12 layers of Super Luminova and the non-traveller GMT (have to have one of each, right?) great on paper, wears nice. Don’t know much about Ronda quartz but hopefully it is as accurate as my Seiko quartzes (quartzii?)
I don’t know if it was a coincidence but the date was set correct… the time was off, maybe HK time? Then it would be one day ahead and it would go through 31st while in shipping… has anyone else received their quartz watch already set? Is that a thing or am I just over thinking?
