I'd just bin the lot. Some watches were only caretakers of until they end up with someone else. I wouldn't like to think a known fake has passed through my hands and now someone else possibly thinks it's real or worse still has paid as much as if it's real for it.
No one ever gets out. The exit watch is a fallacy, be it a month, a year or a decade something will peak your interest and eventually you'll want more. Use this time to enjoy your collection and form new long term opinions on them, develop new watch goals or sell the lot and start again.
Of the 4 to choose from A head been my selection but if Enamel had been an option that would have been the one for me. For some reason they just pop in my eyes and stand out above everything else.
Do your research prior to going in person so know or have fair idea of what you're looking for and at.
Speak to one of the SA and explain to them you've browsed at the watch online and need to inspect a few options before any purchase can be considered as it's essential as you say to see it in the metal. Any decent SA should fully understand and be aware they may not make a sale there and then but know by giving a good impression when/if you do buy you may return.
