Recommend me a clock

Good evening folks, a little left field but still horological in nature. I'm looking for recommendations for a clock. I'm looking for the following.

  1. I don't mind if it has a seconds hand or not but if there is one, then no ticking. It needs to be a sweep or nothing.
  2.  It can be a wall or mantle clock I don't mind
  3. It needs to be interesting (define interesting I hear you say) sorry I can't but I'll know it if I see it.

What have you got or have you seen something interesting and you've been waiting for this moment to recommend it, well now is your chance.

I've been wanting to pick up a JLC Atmos clock. As far as I'm concerned it hits #3 out of the park - it's probably the most interesting clock I've ever seen.

They are really expensive at MSRP, but available used for much less. The only thing that has prevented me from buying one is the concern that it would be damaged during shipment.

Some of the designs leave a lot to be desired, but there are definitely some models that are just as appealing from a design standpoint as they are from an "interesting and unusual" perspective.

FWIW, the following is taken from that web site, describing the clock:

What inspiration led the Jaeger‑LeCoultre watchmakers to dream up the Atmos clock in 1928? How did they think to use variations in temperature to power it? The Atmos clock still surprises people today because of its inventiveness. Within a sealed capsule, a mixture of gases expand and contract with each temperature change. Thus, the mechanism winds naturally, without any human intervention. The subtle union between the classic and the modern is the secret to the Atmos collection’s timelessness. Its unique design allows the observer to see the complexity of its machinery from all angles. It is a tribute to the very first Atmos clock and its avant-garde nature. From Art Déco through to contemporary art, the rare crafts and complexities of watchmaking, the Atmos has always kept up with the times, while maintaining its soul thanks to the reinterpretations of great designers working together with Jaeger-LeCoultre.

I’ve been looking for an excuse to buy a Mondaine clock that’s based on the ones used by Swiss Railways. I think one or two of them even do that synchronizing pause thing at the top of each minute that the Swiss railway clocks are famous for. https://mondaine.com/collections/clocks

So metal!  It’s a clock with a picture of Flavor Flav wearing a clock…

Yo dog, we heard you like clocks, so we put a clock on your clock so you can tell time while you tell time.

Additionally, I know nothing about them but those vacuum / nixie tube clocks do sure have a nifty steampunk look. amazon.com/nixie-tube-clock/s?k=nixie+tube+clock
