Hamilton Khaki "Murph" with various leather straps. Which one you like?

Fellow watch enthusiast, Today I'm trying several straps options on my Hamilton Khaki "Murph" ref. H706051. 42 mm. Which strap option you like on this watch. All the straps are 21 mm lug width. Here are the options: A) Gucci leather strap B) Colareb Roma C) Hamilton OEM black leather strap D) Don't like leather straps. Its not my thing.

All good. A and C are all you'll ever need.

Needs to be black, but doesn’t need to be the OEM.

I don't not like leather straps but I prefer bracelets.

Thank you for you response. TBH, I like "all of the above" depending on the situation and what I'm wearing for that day. I been contemplating getting a metal bracelet Milanese style for those warm days where leather is not comfortable on my wrist. Thank you again!

Looks best on leather IMO. 👍

Thanks for the comparison! I am also trying to figure out a good strap for the Murph. How’s the Colleen on the wrist? It looks a bit longer than the others?

Leather watch straps are a consumable in that they wear fast and absorb skin oils and scratch easily. Black will hide all that for longer and a permanent marker hides all sins.

I agree with you 100 percent. Black leather straps are more versatile in that respect. Thank you for sharing your thoughts.

Yes indeed. The Colareb strap is a little bit longer (1/2 inch) but is no problem for me because I have "a humongous" wrist at 9 inches. I think you will be okay with that strap selection. Thank you!

I can't stand style B straps, sorry.

I voted (4) but it’s not that I don’t like leather straps. To me a leather strap wel crafted is a #dresswatch or a #vintage watch’s strap. My personal opinion is that beautiful time piece of yours is asking for a nato strap.

I agree! NATO's looks good on that watch. I often dress it up with a NATO from Wrist Candy Watch Club. Thanks for your response. Cheers!
