A trip to NASA Houston Mission Control

I’m very lucky to have had the opportunity to get a tour by an astronaut of NASA Mission Control in Houston. Very few people get to walk the actual floor and visit the Mission Control center and I was afforded just that opportunity! While most people don’t care about the watch you wear , I can assure you 100% of the engineers, astronauts in training and staff loved the Omega Moonwatch I had on - and I saw this watch on 4 other people there. History may not mean a lot to some of us but I can say at NASA they are all about it , what an incredible day 😀

That's incredibly cool and I'm extremely jealous 😁. Good on ya mate 👍🏻👍🏻

Appropriate watch for the setting. Did you notice what watches the astronauts wear? Maybe you can get the next "Moonwatch" before it blows up.

What a cool and unforgettable experience!

Nice! Awesome that you got to wear your Speedy while there. I'm green with envy!🤤

They took inspiration from Grand Seiko I see 😅 totally missed that release.

Kind of like Hasselblad and the Magic of film roles surviving ....well eveything . I won't go in details, but hey go " moonwatch "

Sounds like you had a good tour

Next time I will be going over the pond, I will be visiting the museum!

What an amazing day! Visiting mission control, Huston and the Kennedy Space center are on my bucket list. Great to hear the Speedmaster is still part of the day to day at NASA.

This is in the NBL, right? I was there a few years ago observing some EVA training with Andreas Mogensen 🙂
