Why sometimes spending more is best

When i bought my 1963 i decided to spend a little more but get the nicer version from Poljot24.de

Not too long ago i realized that the choice i did make was the best i could.

The watch was pristine, working within 20 sec/day, but within a week i happened to notice a stutter in the chrono seconds during a portion of the revolution.

That's where spending a bit more comes in handy.

I texed Julian, and in no time, no evidence needed, he sent me a replacement one, even before i could send him the faulty one.

The new one works even better, with no stutters and within 5 sec/day. Got a little sad as i usually grow fond of some things so i was like "this is not really the first one, is just a replacement" but overall i'm happy to have a great piece and to see he delivers such a great service.

Here's the watch with a burgundy Shell Cordovan strap i made for it, i think it matches the style pretty well!

Thanks for recommendation. What a great looking watch and a beautiful strap.

I've been looking to pick up a Strela Chronograph from Poljot24.de (copy of the first one worn in actual Space (vacuum) but with the same Seagull (Venus cloned) movement as yours instead of the Soviet (Venus cloned) movement). I was a little worried about the Seagull movement but it sounds like Poljot24 has great support in case something goes wrong.

Thanks again.

This is a great watch. I too got mine from Julian - I’ve dropped a couple of posts regarding dealing with him.
